Curriculum
The Pine Hill School District provides instruction and programs designed to meet the needs of our talented and diverse student population. Our PreK-12 curriculum is aligned to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards and is designed to challenge students and provide opportunities for each child to build a strong educational foundation and develop their individual strengths. Character education, health and safety, and student leadership are emphasized at each grade level to encourage lifelong skills that will prepare students to be successful in their future endeavors.
A multi-tiered academic support program is in place throughout all grades in order to ensure student mastery of core skills in Literacy and Mathematics. Progress is monitored on an ongoing basis, and specialized support is provided in response to individual student needs.
Our committed staff of educators participates in a variety of professional learning activities to both collaborate and continually stay informed of the latest learning research. As a result, students are afforded opportunities to participate in learning activities that are engaging and fun, while at the same time learning and applying real-world problem solving and teamwork skills.
We encourage our community to be involved in our schools and join us in our commitment to educate the whole child and provide the very best opportunities we can to our children.
Yours in Education,
Ms. Heidi L. Daunoras
